I'm so weak! (and bored)

I couldn't resist the Gambler's Sale at Fabric.com. I bought more fabric, like I need that. My intention is to use these for the maternity tops that I do desperately need. They were a really good price, but I'm not so sure I'm going to like the tie dyed prints splayed across my pregnant boobs and belly. I'm not really a prints on the top kind of gal. My upper body is the half I like to de-emphasize, not draw attention to with a neon sign. If the prints are really hideous in real life, then I'll make Lily something from them. Little girls LOVE (at least mine does) gaudy, loud fabrics. At least I was smart enough to order one safe fabric.

The lilac solid is a brushed slinky and tie dyed fabrics are a jersey knit.

Despite this being a night with a puking kid (first lice, now vomit - my washing machine is getting a workout) I was able to be a little bit productive on the sewing front. I have my altered maternity pattern traced and cut out with a washed piece of fabric ready to go. I hope to get a top cut out tomorrow night, and if I'm lucky I may start sewing it!
