Saturday, in the park...
No, I'm not in the park, but I can't get that Chicago song out of my head.
Today I am sharing some good things. My mail person has been very good to me. Not only did I receive that fabulous bag from Linda on Monday, but a few more goodies arrived. Samantha from Plump Pudding sent me these goodies, all for being one of the first commenters on one of her posts. When I first saw that adorable chicken on her blog I thought it would look cute in the nursery, but I think it is going on my studio, for sure. I was so surprised to receive the other goodies, the pin cushion and tissue holder. Thank-you! Now I need to think of something special to send her in return...
Another surprise in the mail was this fabulous collage from Alicia. I can not believe that she sent me this, I feel so special! I know you can't see this in my crappy photo, but it is personalized with a little thank-you clipped with that tiny clothes pin and a "B" initial. So sweet! I love all the fabric swatches and vintage buttons. This will be the first thing I hang in my studio when I get that room near completion. I can't help but be inspired surrounded by all these lovelies!
Then today, I received my first Japanese craft book. I so love it! I can't wait to get busy on a project, but that will have to wait for another weekend because this one is already full with activities (non-craft related).
Okay, I promise that I wasn't shopping for fabric, but these just jumped into my cart. I stopped on my way home from work yesterday ONLY for some fusible fleece, but look what I found. WOW! I never find things this cute in real life , and they were only $2 yd! I bought a yard of each. Oh well, it wasn't April YET. I am definitely suffering from spring fever.
Just for fun I'm leaving you with this - my kids amusing themselves, along with the cat, while I was taking these pictures.
P.S. You won't have to suffer through my poor quality photos much longer - we ordered a new camera last night. I can't wait to get it!

Wow you had a good day! I am green with envy! Where did you get the polka dot fabric? Cute kids and cat!!

Great stuff in the mail. Why is it I only get catalogs and bills?! That sucks.
