Happy Mardi Gras! We just got in from spending the day in New Roads eating, visiting with family, and enjoying the Mardi Gras parades. I've created a flickr set if you want to check it out. Here are a few highlights:

bless you girl...i'll wiat until my 2 get older...i am not tackling mardi gras by myself with a 4 year old and a 2 year old...NO WAY JOSE!!!!

We have never done Mardi Gras outside of New Orleans. There have been many talks about going to one of the Cajun areas one year for the festivities. The pictures show how much fun you guys were having. It seems that it is so much more family oriented, how nice. Thanks for sharing!
