Weekend Projects
I had quite a productive weekend. I don't feel like I spent a lot of time sewing, but I sure completed a lot of projects.
Made For China blankets & barrettes are completed and on their way.
A couple of snappy card holders. I actually made about 6 of these, but only two were keepers. I need lots of practice sewing curves. Thankfully, Lily loves the cast-offs. I put the keepers in my etsy shop.
And last but not least, my new bag! Oh, how I love it!! Isn't it cute? This looks more summer than spring, but at the first sign of warm weather I'm breaking this baby out. Yes, I'm tired of winter. That orange & blue combo makes me oh, so happy!

Oh my, oh my, oh my! That bag is the greatest!!! The shape, the fabric, the size...perfection. Great job! xoxo

Ooooh, Beki! That bag ROCKS! I looooove the owl print snappy pouch, too, did you sell it already?

Good for you Beki for following through on that China project. It sounded really appealing to me but I knew that I wouldn't get it done. What a great way to share your gifts and talents.
And you continue to create - what a productive weekend!

The bag is so great. Love the colour combo. What a brilliant idea using the ties for closing it. The barrets are so cute. How did attach the felt flowers to the clip? Glue gun?

Such a pretty bag! My sewing student picked that dish towel and the matching light blue one to make her first bag. She said the colors reminded her of the beach.

Amazing bag! Girl, you're realy into bags, huh!? They're lookin' good.
(I love the orange and blue, and, in fact, have blue fabric very similar to yours. P-r-e-t-t-y!)
BTW, please tell me how you put on those super snaps! Do you use the plier-like tool? 'cause I sure don't know how to use mine!
