another one

Pink_top

This time I followed the directions, mostly.  I like it.  The only thing I changed was to make the back more narrow than the front to cut down on the back billowiness.  Now all I need is a new bra with clear straps.

These really are the perfect summer tops.  I think I like them so much because they remind me of my childhood.  I can remember wearing many tie-strap tops.  Fun times.

Awww, Beki, I love that one. It reminds me of one I had when I was little. And it looks really cute on you! Have a happy vacation.

Oh this is really cute. I'm going to make some of these for me and my daughter. Soo cute for summer. Thanks for sharing.

yep, this one is certainly a trip down memoryline, it's absolutely lovely!!

really sweet looking on you. Enjoy wearing it :)

it's great beki! going to make myself another one today, i think. good idea about cutting some out in the back.

super cute Beki!

I love your vacation tops! They remind me of my sister making me halters every summer when I was a girl. I am gonna have to try sewing again!

That is very cute and summery. It does bring back a lot of childhood memories for me, too.

This one is very cute too! I can't decide which one I like better! They both are sweet, and look perfect for summer...

you look good rockin the pink beki! now you have two! way to go!

These are totally dreamy! Why, oh why, is life so short when there are so many great things to make?!?!?

Beautiful tops Beki! Love the fabric you picked for both of them, but I esp. think pink is your color :)

look at all of these sweet tops that you've been making! and the pink fabric is so pretty!

How fun and summery! Great job.

I really like that top! Now I am definitely going to have to try that tutorial!

Love the new top, Beki! The fabric is adorable and I love the little tie straps! :)

Love it that is an adorable top! It is so osummery and your right it reminds me of the cute tops we had as children. Just to let you know if you have any adjustable bras, the ones that go to strapless and so on. You can just purchase the clear straps to add to it. I think VS and Target carry them. Also Target has some good, but very cheap priced adjustable bras that come with clear and matching color straps.

Love the top, very cute on you. I'll have to give it a try.

What can I can say? Very adorable! You're really cranking those projects fast. Am inspired.

It's cute! I made one last week and I still have to adjust the sides as it is too big. Once I get my camera cord I'll be showing off mine too! Oh, and perhaps getting some clear bra straps as well!

Super-duper cute! Love it and it looks so fresh and summery on you. Good job!

that one is very cute. i like the fabric, too. it adds to the summery-ness.

so cute! might have to try to make one of these myself.

Love the tie straps. Total memory sparker.

Oh Beki it's gorgeous. This one is my favourite. Pink looks so great on you!

this top is really pretty. i have drawn the line at kids clothes, but i should really be brave and attempt something for myself. i could use it as an excuse to buy more fabric...hmmm

Cute, cute! I love it.

Great top! Did you use a pattern for this one? I need to get myself one of those bras with clear straps as I have a couple of tops similar to this one.

They look so cool and pretty. Have a lovely break at the beach.

Sewww cute!! And perfect for the beach!! :) :) Have fun!

I like the pink. It looks like you should be somewhere hot and sunny enjoying a picnic.

love that pink top! It looks terrific on you.

That is a really cute top. How fantastic. I may have to look at doing some tops like this... wait.. the pattern is in Simple Sewing a French Twist as well....hmmm, I see another weekend project. Oh besides my after shower towel wrap with new terry material from Superbuzzy!
