burning the midnight oil
I've been staying up way too late at night trying to fit my crafty in. One of the downfalls of long summer days is late summer bedtimes. Unlike my kiddos, who get to sleep in, I still have to get up at my regular crack of dawn time *yawn*. Is it worth it? Yeah, I think so.
(don't you hate these cryptic posts?)

Show more - that flower looks great! And I can so relate to burning the midnight oil. I've been staying up late to squeeze in crafty stuff, and still get up at 5:45 to go to work. I am living on caffeine. One of my students said to me the other day, "Ms. Lutjen, when I grow up, I want to be just like you. I want to be a teacher and drink coffee all day long." Nice. If she only knew I'd be on the floor without it!

I hear you on the later bedtimes! Last night I wanted to bust out the sewing machine or at least some knitting needles but by the time Lily was asleep, I was exhausted. Can't wait to see what you're making!

YOu are such a tease! I can't wait to see what that beautiful flower belongs too! A tote, an apron? I am going to be burning the midnight oil tonight making thank you gifts for the kids teachers. I'll be thinking of you tonight :o)
