This is somewhat random, but here are a few projects I've completed in the past few weeks.
A pillow for a little guy's first birthday.
An appliqued t-shirt for my birthday boy.
A new bag for a friend.
I think I like this kind of sewing best, making gifts for friends and loved ones.
All your projects are fantastic but I especially love the bag!

I agree. Most of the things I make are gifts for family and friends. I like thinking about them as I make them.

Beki, these are awesome. I agree that it is soo fun to make things for other people!! You are a very generous person too! I LOVE the fabric that you sent to me. It totally made my day. In fact - I was going to post about it on my blog yesterday but I didn't want to taint it with my nasty ranting!! Thank you soooo much! I can't wait to make something with it!

it is fun to make things for people. i especially love making things for my kids - they're just so dang proud of it. very cute "3" there. love it.

It's so much more fun to sew for other people. They always appreciate it more than you do, all you can see is the flaws.
Looks like your very happy boy had a great birthday! I love the fabric on your bag. You always have such lovely bags!
