gratitude friday
It's been a while since I've done one of these. I let them go because I felt like a broken record every Friday, grateful for family, faith, home, health, love - what else is there, really? Even though I haven't said it recently, I am so very grateful for all those things, especially that group of goons above. That's the photo I took of them at the airport before I left for California. Those 4 people are my everything, and I am so, so very grateful that I have them in my life.
It's been stressful getting back into the groove of things with the start of school, football practice, and Matt's graduate classes two nights a week, but we're surviving. It feels good to get back into a routine. I find comfort in the rhythm of our day, though it can be a struggle getting everything to fall into place. We're all experiencing some difficulties with this new transition, but we'll get used to it. I can't wait.
At the end of this busy week I am grateful for the weekend, grateful for some time to relax and reconnect. This weekend I'm putting those darned cabinets on the back burner because I feel the need to craft. Hopefully I'll have something to show for it by the end of the weekend. I'm most excited about a little date with Matt on Sunday afternoon. We're going down to New Orleans to tour the Cottage Living Idea Home. I'm so excited! If I can take pictures, I will, believe me!!
I guess that's all folks, have a great weekend and enjoy life!!

I don't think you can say it enough :)
Have a great weekend! Enjoy crafting! I might put off my cabinets too. Going to be so hot here and I have a bunch of craft projects I want to finish up too! Enjoy!

What beautiful things to be thankful for. It puts life in perspective to look at your family and feel so much love and remember why you do things.
Have a fun date! That place looks awesome!!!
