more bag love
Oh, how I love these bags! After making my fall bag, I had to make more (impulsive crafting sickness made me do it). These yummy Japanese canvases from good-ness told me they wanted to be big bags.
I would love to keep them for myself, but I don't need them, really. I'll eventually post them in the shop, when I get the time.
Are you sick of bags yet? I promise, this is it for a while. Sewing this last batch of bags did poor Richelle in. She needs a tune up. Sewing through all those layers of heavy canvas and interfacing has thrown the timing off, I think. Regardless, she needs a professional. Send her some "get well soon" vibes, please? We both need it!

Oh, they are beautiful!! Did you make the pattern yourself? I would love to copy you...that's a compliment of course.

I didn't notice it on the first bag, but now I see it - the rick rack! Nice way to use it!
Tune ups are good, but if I remember correctly Richelle is really heavy? Be careful!

I hope she gets well soon. The bags are cute and love the little touches. Unfortunately some illnesses don't really have a cure. :)

Beautiful bags - I want one. Get well soon Richelle - makes me hold my breathe just thinking about any time without my sewing machine. Nice to know I'm not the only one to name my things - do I walk to the shops with Dolly today or should I just take Sylvester?

Get well soon Richelle! But really, this is perfect timing for a tune-up. Gotta get her in tip-top shape for the upcoming gift-giving season!

I will never tire of your bags. The craftsmanship always impresses me. The fabrics of these two are just perfect, and the little bit of ric rac that peeks out is too cute.
