more bag love

Big_bags

Oh, how I love these bags!  After making my fall bag, I had to make more (impulsive crafting sickness made me do it). These yummy Japanese canvases from good-ness told me they wanted to be big bags.

I would love to keep them for myself, but I don't need them, really.  I'll eventually post them in the shop, when I get the time.

Are you sick of bags yet?  I promise, this is it for a while.  Sewing this last batch of bags did poor Richelle in.  She needs a tune up.  Sewing through all those layers of heavy canvas and interfacing  has thrown the timing off, I think.  Regardless, she needs a professional.  Send her some "get well soon" vibes, please?  We both need it!

Oh, they are beautiful!! Did you make the pattern yourself? I would love to copy you...that's a compliment of course.

Leslies shop has the best stuff! I can well hear it saying "make me into something!" And what great bags they are!

The bags look great! I hope all goes well with the tune up!

Get well soon Richelle. These bags are my new favorites. :)

oooooh, I love the fabric on the left.

Oh, no, Richelle! Get better soon!!!

(Love the fabric & the bags, Beki!)

Please tell me Richelle is your sewing machine!
Barbara

oh sweet richelle!! get well soon. i think your mama may lose some sanity if you are not around!

I didn't notice it on the first bag, but now I see it - the rick rack! Nice way to use it!

Tune ups are good, but if I remember correctly Richelle is really heavy? Be careful!

oh heavens to betsy...i will keep my eye out on those bags... (as if i need more) who am i kidding....anyway glad all is well...and send richelle some love

xo

I hope she gets well soon. The bags are cute and love the little touches. Unfortunately some illnesses don't really have a cure. :)

I love 'em, too! Way cool and so autumnal!

Beautiful bags - I want one. Get well soon Richelle - makes me hold my breathe just thinking about any time without my sewing machine. Nice to know I'm not the only one to name my things - do I walk to the shops with Dolly today or should I just take Sylvester?

Beki, these bags are precious, and I love the design! (glad to hear your fabrics talk to you, too)

Get well soon Richelle! But really, this is perfect timing for a tune-up. Gotta get her in tip-top shape for the upcoming gift-giving season!

The bags are gorgeous and many get well wishes for your machine!

Oh my, I love them both!

Get well vibes coming your way. love your bags !

Oh, so sorry to hear that your Richelle is under the weather. My machine needs to go in for a check up as well, but it's so hard to part with it!!!

The bags are wonderful. Does any woman really get tired of a looking at lovely bags?

Love the bags, Beki!!!!! You inspire me to get moving on an autumn bag.

Love those groovy fall bags.

So cool! I love the one in the back... isn't the fabric from good-ness awesome??

Um, if this is what comes of ICS (Impulsive Crafting Sickness) I certainly will NOT be wishing you anything like healing. They are gorgeous!

Oh more lovely bags! I hope Richelle gets better soon:)

They're really pretty bags. i love the colors and the rickrack.

Love that fabric! Gorgeous!

I will never tire of your bags. The craftsmanship always impresses me. The fabrics of these two are just perfect, and the little bit of ric rac that peeks out is too cute.

Oooh Beki what lovely bags. I love the one on the right! I'm sending some get well vibes to Richelle :o)

NO I am not sick of your bags, I girl can never get fed up of bags especially as stunning as yours. I have loved catching up with all your goings on over the summer, its been a real treat.
