good use of buttons

button wreath

After seeing meg's lovely wreaths, I couldn't resist.  I had to make one.

button wreath

I don't think I can put this away when Christmas is over.  I'm pretty sure I can find the perfect place for it in my studio, oh yeah.

Oh that's a very good use of inexpensive colorful plastic buttons. I like it! Yes, I think that it'd make an excellent decoration in your studio. :-)

That is so incredibly cute! I would definitely hang it in your studio... or mine!

Adorable!

Very nice!

I might have to make on too!

really really really cute! Love!

eeek! I love it...the ribbon is the perfect compliment to the wreath.

that's delicious...

Those colors are great for the whole year. I think its awesome.

I agree with everyone – definitely perfect year round! Cute Cute Cute!

Wow, like ice cream! It looks positively edible.

Adorable! So glad I stopped by to check tonight, this is just precious, would look sweet in a baby girl's room too.

Of course I agree with everyone, too. Lovely wreath that should find a home in your studio...Hmnn...I think I see another craft project for me and the kiddos to do together next week some time.

I love it!!! I definitely wouldn't put it away after Christmas, it is way too pretty.

Oh I love this! I saw them here and there last year and made a heart-shaped wreath out of vintage-looking buttons and a heart-shaped button ornament pictured at http://barbarah.wordpress.com/2006/12/30/buttons/.

Thanks for telling us about the flickr group, too!

OMG, that is so cute!! I can't tell from the pic -- how big is it??

That is adorable!

so cute!! What a great wall decoration for your studio after the holidays!

This is the first one that makes me want to make a wreath. So bright and cheerful!

Yeah, that is perfect studio decor! So cute!

great wreath! the colors are so vibrant and well balanced.

I definitely wouldn't put that away.

Very cute! Love the colors.

It looks great- what a great project!!

That's fantastic - it makes my mouth water just looking at it! :-) x

Very pretty, Beki! And you've made it in those sorbet colours, too.

That's lovely and definitely not too Cristmas-y... it will look wonderful in your studio!

ooh i love it!

did you glue the buttons on? definitely a good use for some of my hundreds of buttons...

Very festive--and wonderful alternative to the traditional wreaths! Happy Days :o)

So cute and colorful!

it's so cute! I love the colors!

How fun is that!!!

I love it. I want one!!!

So pretty and I love the colours you've used. Far too lovely to put away :)

totaly making one today! errr...maybe tomorrow! what did you use as the base?

I received one of these button wreaths in a swap last year and this is what started my button craziness!

That is absolutely adorable!

love the colors, beki!

If only I had enough buttons to make one. So cute Beki. I definitely think you could keep it up year round!

That is a great idea. I may have to have my girls do this when were snowed in sometime. Then they can hang it in their room or on their door.

this is so pretty. i love all your colorful decorations! i may have to get my hands on some buttons and try this!

So pretty -- love it!

Your wreath is gorgeous, and it is so you. It's funny how the button wreaths I've seen around really reflect their makers. Mine is all white with black and white ribbon - quite appropriate, I'd say, for my rigid little self! Your wreath would be beautiful, too, in the Spring, especially around Easter. Lovely!

love the wreath! dont put it away. i want to make one too...what did you glue the buttons on to?

Holy Mozoly! Totally sweet, love this wreath!

reminds me of a festive donut. and not i'm hungry. it's really pretty. :)

Wow - this is fantastic! I can't imagine trying to sew on all those buttons!!

Oh I love it! Such a fun mix of colors that can be used way beyond Christmas!

Beautful colours in thei wreath
