buttons & beads
So, I made my first button pendant with my favorite orange button as the centerpiece. I couldn't wear it alone, could I? No, I had to make a pair of earrings to match. I love it! It isn't too springy, but I could totally see this with a brown linen sun dress. I'm warning you now, button pendants and earrings are addictive...

it looks great, beki! i can't wait to see what other ones you whip up.

I think that would be perfect. You'll have to post a photo of you in that brown linen dress and your new button jewels, headed out for a night on the town with your hubby.

Both are supercute! Isn't it amazing someone took the time to take all those buttons off of a garment? I wonder how many awesome buttons are in the landfill....hmmmm

Beki, I LOVE what you're doing with the button pendants. They have a bit of a mod look to them, which I admire. And the earrings are a beautiful compliment to this pendant - not too matchy, but a great color pairing. Nice.
