March 11, 2008

it happened overnight

While I've been busy inside making spring bags, spring had been springing right outside my door.  I was surprised to see so many new blossoms around the yard.

dianthus, which grew like a weed over the winter:

It's nice to see spring is coming! It's not quite here yet, I'm in IL, were expecting a bit of snow on Friday, ick! Your pictures give me hope though!

I'll stay inside until our outside looks like your outside. It'll be awhile, the snowbanks are taller than me. At least lots of crafting will get done!

Its not quite here in Arkansas yet, but I'll enjoy it from your blog for sure.

I am so jealous! It looks beautiful there! I can't wait for that...we still have snow on the ground in Iowa. :(

Those peach blossoms are so beautiful they almost don't look real. I think I'll run out and get some petunias today now. Thanks for the inpiration!

You clearly do not live anywhere near here. Petunias in March? Wow! I'm jealous.

Where in the heck do you live.....am so envious of you. I love the spring also. And to see the redbuds and peach and such...my tulips are up about an inch....hurry spring.....You seem like a beautiful person on the inside and out.....

You are sooo lucky! Beautiful flowers!!! It's still cold and snowy here.

gorgeous! Isn't it funny how spring just sneaks up on you?

I can't wait for spring to pop up here in the northlands....

you.are.so.lucky.

Oh my, you are so lucky. We still have snow on the ground.

The snowbanks went from 8 feet to 4 over these days of semi-warm sunshine this week. I will have to envy and enjoy your blooming spring until we get our own! Oh Massachusetts, you are a fun place to live, I swear it.

everything looks so darn good! I love petunias too!

I wish I had plants popping up! We still have snow on the ground! Lucky you.

glorious!!!
i need spring to happen overnight here.

jessi

I'm so jealous!!!! We still have about 8 inches of snow and lots of ice left over from a storm this weekend. Yuck. Enjoy your blossoms!!!

We aren't quite there yet in virginia! We do have a couple of crocus coming up, and the green from my other bulbs are popping through. Enjoy - I'm jealous!

SHAZAM! send it to kansas! send it to kansas!

Wow, my yard won't look like that for at least a couple months.....but I did notice the tiniest bits of green in the flower beds this morning. It's coming!

oh my gosh, that's amazing--where in the world do you live? we still have snow on the ground!

Seeing your spring is refreshing. Bulbs are just peaking through over in my neck of the woods. It can't get here fast enough!

I would normally be completely jealous, but seeing as we are having a day in the mid-sixties today I am going to be so happy for your beautiful flowers ;)

Oh, you are so lucky. I can't wait for spring and we are going to have snow again this weekend.
Thanks for sharing those beautiful pictures.

Ooooh! Aaaah! I'll live through you for a few more weeks!

I'm thoroughly jealous. Spring has yet to hit DC. :(

I want to live where you do! All we have right now is rain rain rain. Enjoy.

ooh....i'm getting antsy!

Oh, that looks SO nice!

That's it-I'm moving! It is still as ugly as can be 'round here.

how wonderful!!! can you believe we are just happy here to see a bit of grass- how ever dry and brown it is!

Oh, it's gorgeous! It's happened here, too, and I'm not minding the horrible sneezing and watery eyes it's brought me - I'll take Spring any way i can get it! Yay!

I love the beauty of this time of year as well, although I must say, for my allergies sake I am not looking forward to the blooming... I think I may have a few weeks to go, so I must relish in the clear nose and head!

Spring isn't here yet, but I liked looking at these pictures and thinking, "Oh, yeah! THAT'S what living things look like!"

I am so jealous!
It's cold here still, but yesterday was warmer and I started some gardening clean up and saw a lot of new life... but nothing compared to yours! Enjoy it.

Make a bag and Spring appears! :)

Your pictures of your yard don't quite match mine. I think I have grass but I haven't seen it in so long I am not completely sure. :-)

Oh, it all looks so wonderful! We still have snow flurries in the air this morning...

How beautiful!

I can't wait for spring to arrive here! I can finally see a small patch of grass in our yard.

Very pretty!

So pretty! So inspirational! I haven't seen any flowers budding around here--yet. But it will happen! Soon!

Look at all of the spring goodness! Beautiful Beki!

Oh, I am sooo jealous! We had a nightmare of a blizzard last night in Utah--thanks for the pics!
