so long, april...
April was a good month. Busy, but good. Tomorrow starts a brand new month, my favorite month of all. As busy as April was, May will be a whirlwind. May is a big month in our family. All three of us girls have birthdays - Ava on the 1st (sniff, sniff - where's my May Day baby going?), me on the 14th (ugh), and Lily on the 24th (big 7 going on 17). Along with that is Mother's Day, about 57 other family member birthdays (not really, but close), plus all of the end of school year activities, a dance recital, and Memorial Day. On one hand I'm excited, but on the other I'm kind of scared. I know that these next 4+ weeks weeks are going to fly by!
I've decided to challenge myself this next month. Instead of going on a blog break, I'm going to post pictures with just a few words, if any at all. This will be hard for me because I'm such a blabber mouth - especially with all that fun stuff going on. At first I was going to do pictures only, but come on, I can't do that! So I'll try to be quiet and express all that is going on around me through my photos. This should be interesting - a challenge, indeed!

Wow thats one busy month ahead - good luck! Beautiful dress too, so bright and summery. I've trying to post just pics this week too but can't resist just putting a teeny little sentence in there, which defeats the object of making the process easier!!

I have that fabric! And it would be great for *so* many things so I'm always too afraid to cut into it. If I knew I'd make something that turned out as great as your little Ava's dress did, I'd take the scissors to it in an instant! Good luck with May, sounds like you'll barely have time to close your eyes for sleeping...

We have a ballet recital for the 3 girls, but other than that, May should be pretty quiet. June and July will be crazy, because my oldest starts his golf tournaments!

What a beautiful and colourful dress beki! Wow is Ava seriously turning 1??? It seemed like yesterday that she was born. Awk...time flies! I think I might join you in the picture post only...well with a few words. Life gets busy and I tend to post nothing! Pictures might just do it!
