short & sassy
I feel like this pattern has taken forever to put together (all due to my own procrastination), but it's FINALLY ready. YAY!! The Short & Sassy Pleated Handbag is ready for purchase.
I'd like to thank all my lovely pattern testers for helping me out on this one. All their input was truly invaluable. They all did a fabulous job. Thanks again Beth, Mindy, Monique, and Jenny!! If you'd like to see their versions and read what they had to say, check out their blogs. I'd also like to give a big thank-you to Linda, who was one of my first friends made through blogging back in the beginning and who has given me much guidance in this whole pattern making process.
I've started an artsy-crafty babe sewing patterns flickr group, if you'd like to join in. All of you who have made one of the Lily Beth bags or the Short & Sassy, please add them. It's so fun to see what we all come up with.
To celebrate the completion of this project and my 3 year blog anniversary that I missed 2 months ago, I'd like to give away some patterns along with some extras. Leave me a comment through the weekend and I'll draw a few names on Sunday evening Wednesday, Sept.24th.
Thank you all for your support, I couldn't have done it without you :))
P.S. the patterns will be for sale in my etsy shop as soon as I get a chance to upload them.
***update - the bag patterns are available in the shop now***

That is TOO cute! I love it! And by the way, I am tagging you for a random things meme if you'd like to join in. :)

Looking good! I really like the way the pattern cover looks (which is, I think, half the battle in getting people to buy). I love the fabric choices. As soon as you get it into your etsy shop, I'll be adding it to my favorites :-)
On another note, your blog header always reminds me of fall - maybe you'll want to join in on my little Welcome Autumn thingamabob on Monday (the first day of fall)?
