Right now, its still my Thursday night, but its after midnight, so happy Friday it is! I've been doing a little bag sewing. For myself. I'm calling it an early birthday present :)
I knew what I wanted. Something not too big, not too small, with lots of pockets. Pockets are something I don't usually worry about, mainly because I'm too lazy to fiddle with them. But after not ever being able to find my cell phone at the bottom of my bag, I decided it was time for more compartmentalization. We'll see how this works out.
Of course, it had to be colorful. The pieced insert came from my scrap basket, The straps and lining are the same fabric, and I made the pockets from various other scraps. I love it.
This design is a tweak on this one. It's still not where I want it to be, but I'm definitely making progress. I'm almost there!! I have high hopes of doing a little more tweaking this weekend, along with catching up on my quilting bee blocks (sorry guys - I'm behind as usual). Ah, it's Friday, all is good.
