Whew! It took me about 10 times longer than I expected, but my shop is finally updated. I've uploaded 8 new bags, most of which were made in the process of pattern development, and my new pattern. Yes, my new pattern is finally completed! I'm so excited about it!
This style should look pretty familiar to you, considering the last few bagsI've blogged about are this type (and they're for sale). Included in the pattern are the pattern pieces for making the round yoke out of one fabric, like the one on the cover, or patchwork, like the ones I've been carrying around. My intention for this bag is for you to use your creativity to make the round yoke as you'd like, whether you want to dress it up with ric rac, add a monogram, some buttons, applique flowers, whatever! I can't wait to see what you all come up with on this one.
Don't forget, if you've made any of my bag patterns, I encourage you to add them to the artsy-crafty babe sewing pattern flickr pool.
Oh, one more thing - over the course of the summer I plan to convert all my patterns to print, meaning that you'll then have the option of purchasing a downloadable pattern or a printed pattern mailed to your house. I like having options, I thought you would too :) Thanks to all of you who have supported me on this pattern adventure and purchased my patterns, I couldn't do it without you!!!
