First off, thank you! thank you! thank you! for all your comments on my last post. I read through every single one of them, shed tears on some, and took all of them to heart - they were all like great big hugs. Y'all are awesome! That is why I love blogging. If I could have you all over for a potluck craft night, I would!! Wouldn't that be fun?
Okay, back to today's topic - hair. When I woke up this morning, I didn't plan to cut my hair, shoot, I just had it cut and colored 2 weeks ago. I had been growing my hair out, but it was starting to look kind of mullet like, ya know, longer in the back than the front - certainly not a look I was going for. So, I called up my guy and made an appointment. I wanted to try something new before my hair grew out too much.
I only told him to take a little off the back, but we all know how scissor happy he can be (BTDT!). It's a little (okay, a lot) shorter in the back than I envisioned, but I like it. It feels good to not have any hair on my neck, perfect for my upcoming sandy destination :)
It may be quiet around here for a few days, but don't worry. I just may be having too much fun to blog!! Have a great weekend, friends, I'll drink a margarita for ya!!

I think it looks great!

Great cut! That cut is super popular in Jeff City, but didn't look that good on me. Looks great on you tho! I love the way it makes your color look...really highlights your colors! ANd the back lays really pretty. Have fun at your sandy destination.

Your pictures are coming to the hairdressers with me when I get my next cut...it's exactly the style I want next! And I read your last post a day late but your words are exactly, EXACTLY how I have been feeling lately...you continue to inspire me in so many ways!

That cut looks great on you! Someday I might be brave enough to do the same!

That looks great! Same thing happened to me... went in for a change, came out with your cut! I loved it, but my hair is so thick, it's hard to style myself without it looking like I just woke up! Also, when it's really hot, I miss tying it up with one elastic and pulling it all away from my face. Now, I'm pinning here, clipping there, and I look like I've just woken up! LOL! You will certainly have better luck!
Read yesterday's post, but didn't have a second to comment... just wanted to wish you luck and to thank you for being so honest. You will inspire many.

Your hair color and cut look AWESOME!
I wanted to respond to your last post, but too many things stole my attention. We are all kindred spirits here in one way or another. I love reading what creative people are doing, and I thank you for sharing that side of your life.
I also LOVE reality TV, so family pics and stories are right up my alley. I wish I could have read blogs when my kids were the age of yours. I love to see families having the special and, a-hem, memorable moments! These are the things they'll remember, and it is great to have it documented.
I always hated to hear these words, but they are so true, they grow up SO fast! I think that is why I'm wallowing in my kids this summer. I'm dying to sew, but I think we all need this much more at this moment. The rewarding part of my years as a crafting mother? What my kids are wanting me to make for them and their someday children...someday. They are comforted by that and your kids will be too.

Very cute!! I love bobs. I've had my hair like that for about 3 years now and haven't gone back! Bobs are so cute and low maintenance.

Looks great. I keep wanting a cut like that, but chicken out at the last second or give in to the hubby's whining (just kidding) and leave mine shoulder length. I wish I had "a guy" who would just do what he thought looked best on me!
Have fun on vacation, I'd like to request a mojito, please... I've never had one before.

Beki, you are inspirational to so many. Most people don't get to do half of what you do so don't put yourself down, ever. Love the haircut!

There is nothing better than a new haircut! I will scrimp and save on everything around here, but not my haircuts. They are what keeps me sain. :)
