Love the white sand!! I think your upcoming Polka Dot project will be fantastic, I have been collecting black and white/white and black fabric pieces for a future project! I can not wait to see how yours comes along.

Beki, If you have a sec can you fill me in on Spoonflower. I love that pink flower {tulip-y} pattern on your profile. But can only you have it printed? I signed up for a Spoonflower acct last year but I was so confused I could never figure it out. Love the vacay pics!

Yay! A good thing indeed!

That sand looks incredibly inviting. I don't think I've ever seen sand like that!

Wow i love that bag that you made 2 years ago. I have just found your blog and brought 3 of your patterns and have just finished the pretty in pleats that i made of brown cord ( as in Australia it's winter) I would love to see you make a pattern for this pleated pocket bag as I love your designs and this looks wonderful.

I've been dreaming of printing some spoonflower fabric. I'm looking forward to Alex's polka dot quilt and new bags!

Oh, I just want to bury my feet in that sand. Glad to hear you are renewed and refreshed.

Love the cute toes....and the beach looks pretty good to0!! :-)

That beach looks awesome. I am ready for a beach visit myself. I need some of your creative thinking. I am knee deep in That Damn Afghan and until it's finished I don't think I will be able to focus on anything else.

That sand looks soooo good! Is that an Alabama beach? Reminds me of our favorite place in the world, Gulf Shores. Glad you're feeling renewed and refreshed! And by the way, that pleated pocket bag has always been my favorite!

Glad to hear that a great time was had by all. So nice to take a break from the norm. :)

Have fun creating the new blankie!

Beki, I have an Amy Butler purse pattern for a slouchy type of purse with pleats. Do you think I would be able to quilt around some of the flowers or would it make it too thick? I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks, Tina

I think the same think: it's a little small for me. So I made two: one original for my daughter and a bigger one for me with one extra zippered pocket , . I'll post the pictures. But let me tell you the I love the bag!!!

We're just back in from vacation too! I love seeing your pictures. those sandy toes are too fun! I've got your Phoebe bag on my list to make. It is adorable. That one with the pleated pocket looks great too. You can never have too many bags! Sounds like your creative juices are flowing! Enjoy.

These were great pictures! Glad you had a good time!
