It took much longer than anticipated, but I finally found some time to update my shop. You'll find a mix of new and *gently used* bags. Some of you may be disappointed that the appliqued Phoebe didn't make it there, but don't worry, there are more in the works. They will be similar to the original, but a little different - no two will be exactly the same.
When I was photographing this last batch of bags I made an interesting discovery - my Ava Rose tote is reversible. How fun is that? I can't believe that I didn't realize that. Next time I make one, I'll be sure to add a pocket to both the inside and the outside to increase the usability.
In other news, I'm over here suffering from a candy hangover. Ugh. I'm not used to eating that stuff - I think my body went into sugar shock. After drinking lots of water I'm starting to feel a little bit better, well enough to retrieved the fabric for my next bloomers skirt from my sewing room. I don't think I'll start on it just now, but it's near by if I feel like it. Oh, I wore the skirt yesterday and totally loved it. I went with a long sleeve white tee and a denim jacket -it was just perfect. I can see lots of possibilities with this skirt, thanks for all your suggestions.

I'm not disappointed... :)

Beki!
I tried to comment on your bloomers skirt but my computer wigged out and wouldn't let me. I love it... it's so fabulous and I bet it looked great with a white t and denim jacket! I love Alabama Stitch Book but have been too chicken thus far to attempt-- you may have inspired me. On a totally random side note.. I've ridden in the back of a hearse driven by Natalie Chanin's husband... and it wasn't for a funeral! Totally crazy story for another time! :)

LOVE the bags! I have never made a reversible bag myself, hmmm... time to try it, I think. Can't wait to see the next skirt. I loved the first one. Personally, I will not make one like that. Too much work! I prefer quick and easy!

Yay for the skirt! I'm glad you found the perfect combo for you.
How wonderful to have a reversible bag quite by accident!
