Hmm, which corner to show? I've already revealed most of them (the more interesting ones, at least). This week is tough. Not many of my corners are photo worthy. I'll let you in on a little secret - I can't, and DON'T do it all. I'm talking about crafting, working, keeping a clean house, being a good mother, cooking, blogging, whatever. Lately I've been in crafty mode, so everything else has slipped. See? That's my huge pile of clean laundry that needs folding.
And that's my bed that hasn't been made in days.
Mardi Gras beads are scattered in just about every room.
And the dishes? Don't even get me started.
Most all of my crafting happens on the weekends (which is when I tell myself I'm going to clean), then I space out blogging about what I made during the week. Most of the time I've already written the posts on the weekend too! During the week I mostly read blogs, comment on a few, and try to wade through my emails. Since I've been so crafty lately, the house has suffered. Poor neglected house! My meals have also suffered. I can't tell you the last time I made a "real" home cooked meal. Instead of rushing home to post a blog entry (guilty of that), I should be cooking a healthy meal for my family.
It's moments like these that I feel like pulling the plug on it all (well, crafting and blogging, that is). Don't worry, I don't think I could do that, but it does cross my mind. Over the next few weeks I think I'm going to pull back a bit, clean my house, get things in order, love on my babies, cook some good meals, and possibly sleep. It's time. I don't plan on going on a break, just posting less often, for a little while, until I miss the comments too much (tee hee). See ya around!
