We may not have had power, internet, or phone service last week, but the US Postal System was in full working order. Ironically, the first thing I got in the mail was my electric bill. Funny. It wasn't all bills and junk mail, I did receive some fun stuff.
First off, I finally got a big ole self healing cutting mat. I haven't used it yet, but I can't wait. Oh, the things I'll be able to cut now! Hopefully, I won't have to buy as many replacement rotary blades, which I seem to go through too quickly.
I also received some fabric from Jona. I have no plans for it, it was an impulse buy. You can't ever have enough fabric, right?
I'm finally up with the times and now own a chi flat iron. Why did I wait to long to get one of these? It totally put my old flat iron to shame. This thing was like magic after having a week of bad, frizzy, out of control hair. I *heart* my chi!!
Lucky me, I won these adorable tags from Knitterella. Thanks, Jill!! Of course, to use these means that I'd have to gift my knitting. Hmm, I've been a little self focused with my knitting lately, I may have to change that (maybe).
And last but not least, I got this book. This is the first knitting pattern book I've ever bought, and I am not at all disappointed. There are a number of things I want to try. So many great knitting patterns, so little time....
