Oh dear, I don't know if it is something in the water or if the heat is frying my brain, but my wheels are turning. I'm quite happy to learn that a few days of rest gets my creative juices flowing! Now, my problem comes in finding the time to execute these plans.
Something that has been on my mind for a while is re-vamping these bags. My goodness, how I love these bags! I will fully admit that I was disappointed that they weren't as well received as I had hoped, but they are kind of boring. I certainly learned my lesson in self-imposed deadlines. I was so focused on having a finished product by a certain date that I didn't let the idea percolate enough. These bags were missing a certain something, and I think I figured it out. I hope! Re-vamped bags to come...
There are also new bags on the horizon. When I spend any length of time in my sewing room, I get so inspired. I end up with 3 times more fabric combinations than I'll ever get to make. There's that time problem again. So many lovely fabrics, so little time.
I did manage to make a list to keep all this 'making' in line. Wish me luck in its' execution!
I'm not sure if this is something to be proud of or not, but this is my 1000th post. Yes, one thousand. One-flipping-thousand! Who knew I had so much to say? In about a week I'll hit my 5 year anniversary (or blog-iversary, a word I always despised), I think this deserves a celebration, don't you? details to come...
