Finally! I remembered to participate in ten on ten. What? You aren't familiar with ten on ten? On the 10th of the month, you take a photo an hour for ten consecutive hours. It seems easy, but it proved to be harder than I thought....
we managed to get beignets for breakfast
then on to the farmers market

back home to examine (and eat) our farmers market haul (those plums & peaches are soooo good!)
now is where it gets kind of boring...i decided to refinish my table - here is the before: crappy table with a flawed finish

hours later i sat down to write this post and realized that i only had 9 photos. what???? all that work only to have 9??? so, i guess technically, i didn't make ten on ten, but i did quickly snap this photo of how i was relaxing after a long day - my knitting an a fruity beverage ;-) can i tell you how sore my arm is after all that sanding and staining? i should probably put the knitting down! i think during the table refinishing is where i got messed up. oh well.
i'll do better next time, i promise. oh, since i'm posting this on a Saturday night i guess you figured out that we didn't find a babysitter, which is fine because i think i would have been too pooped to go on a date. it's bedtime now - later...
