For the past two days I have been up to my eyeballs in all my crafting crap stuff. Fabric, beads, paints, scraps, tools, interfacing- WAY too much for one little room. My sewing studio was in much need of some purging & organizing.
I outfitted the back wall with storage cubbies. I'm not going to lie, when I got everything pulled off my old shelf and started putting the new cubes together I wondered what I had gotten myself into. Before I was even half way into it I wanted to give up, throw it all away and start fresh. But I went on.
I'm far from done, but this little creative space I share with my kids (sometimes) is in much better shape. Once I've recovered from this undertaking, I'll move on to the closet in there, but for now I'm going to enjoy it like it is (and pretend that the closet is just as organized as the rest of the room!).
