Finally, Miss A got a new spring dress! Little girl dresses are so satisfying, aren't they?
I went back to my chic chic dress pattern (I was on a role with these in the fall). As usual, I modified it quite a bit - scooped out the neckline, changed the sleeves, and added a ruffle, along with changing the line of the side seams to fit it on a half width of fabric. I've come to the conclusion that I can NOT follow directions :)
All fabrics are from my stash. Really, I should go stash diving more often. It is my goal this year to buy as little fabric as possible and use what I have...unless I see something that I can't live without - y'all know how that is.
Here she is modeling her new dress, but this is all I got. She was too eager to get outside to play with her brother and sister to do any more than stand there for 3 seconds for a photo. That girl!
