About a month or so ago Laurie Wisbrun contacted me asking if I’d like to play around with her new fabric line with Robert Kaufman, Olive the Ostrich. I didn’t have to give it a second thought – yes!
I had no idea what Olive would look like, but as a fan of her fabrics I was sure that it would be super cute. I had the chance to work with her Tufted Tweets line while making blocks for the Sew to Swap book.
Look how cute Olive is! The coordinating fabrics are fantastic, I especially love this loopy print. Couldn’t you imagine some adorable Valentines sewing with these? And that gray heart print? Love.
I’m not sure what I’ll make with my fat quarter stack just yet, but once I make it I’ll be sure to show you – and give you a chance to win a fat quarter stack of your own.
