*kiddos making gratitude rocks on Thanksgiving morning

Oh my goodness, have I really not been here since Nov. 13?  Shame on me!  Thanks for all the bag love on that last post.  I did attempt to make another one, but my sewing machine started acting up so I never finished it.  Super frustrating.

I'm honestly shocked that it has been that long.  I seem to have no concept of time lately other than seeing it zoom before my eyes.

I have no excuse other than just living...keeping up with my kids.  And oh boy, do they ever require keeping up with!  Baby Toddler stuff + elementary school kid stuff + big kid stuff = a slightly frazzled mama with a very full life.

Oh wait, now I remember what happened....Nov. 13 was at the beginning of our sick week.  First Ava, then Ceci, then me.  It was a week of doctor visits, pharmacy runs, you know, the usual stuff.  That next week was Thanksgiving week, which my kids had off of school, and then there was last week, during which we tried to get back into a routine after being off.  It feels like a total blur, and now here we are in December.  DECEMBER.  Whew!  Sorry, just thinking out loud.

Despite my total lack of time, I realize that I need to make time to do something creative. Y'all have any good craft suggestions?  I miss making stuff.  REALLY miss it. Oh, I have plenty of projects in progress, but none of it is really interesting me right now.  There's a quilt top I started about a year ago and a bit of knitting here and there, but I'm not too excited about any of it.  I wish I had an idea of what I wanted to make.  How sad is that?  

Maybe I want to work with felt?  Something easy and portable?  Perhaps I should try some felt ornaments, which would be wise considering little miss get into everything, who I'm sure would love to undecorate our tree (which isn't decorated yet, just lit).

There you go, now I have a plan.  Felt ornaments it is.  Thanks!  We need to do this more often :)
